ENVIRAMINE™ ethoxylated amines are produced by ethoxylating coco, tallow, di-tallow, and soya amines. The ENVIRAMINE™ ethoxylated amines tend to have cationic properties at low ethoxylation degrees. As the polyoxyethylene chain increases the ENVIRAMINE™ series products will take on nonionic surfactant properties and behave as excellent emulsifiers for a variety of chemical applications.
ENVIRAMINE™ Series materials are commonly used as solubilizers and emulsifiers in formulations to stabilize dispersions and antistat additives. In addition, the ENVIRAMINE™ Series materials are used in textile lubricants, dyeing auxiliaries, friction modifying additives, insecticide and herbicide formulations, degreasing additives, and various cleaning and detergent formulations for contributing antistatic properties. The ENVIRAMINE™ Series products range in the degree of ethoxylation from 2–20 moles of ethylene oxide (EO). Additional molecular weights are available upon review.
